Bundaberg YMCA

The YMCA of Bundaberg Inc was established in Bundaberg in 1988. From its early days, the YMCA of Bundaberg has grown into a major local provider of child care, disability, youth and seniors programs and health and fitness services; operating

· A multi-functional facility in Bundaberg that offers an excellent venue to sporting groups, schools, families and individuals

· State of the art fitness centre at Bargara

· Fully licensed and accredited Child Care Centre

· Fully licensed and accredited Out of School Hours and Vacation Care Programs

· Support services for people with a vast range of disabilities

· Several youth based programs including programs for young people aged 10-18yrs who are detached from the education system, at risk of offending, or are involved in the Youth Justice system.

The YMCA of Bundaberg contributes in excess of $3 million into the local economy each year, providing employment to approximately 60 staff, and servicing several hundred service users across a range of services. It is a modern organisation with a strong traditional foundation of contributing to the community it serves.
