YMCA of Bundaberg is proud to be supporting the 2018 Queensland Mental Health Week between October 6 and 14 2018. Events are being held throughout Queensland aimed at encouraging good mental health under the theme 'Value Mental Health'. Bundaberg-based events include:
- Working on Wellness: Wednesday October 10th commencing at 7 am, YMCA of Bundaberg. This event is organised by Artius. Cost $10 per person, visit this link to purchase tickets
- Wear a Tie Day: Wednesday October 10. This event is organised by Shalom College and Impact Community Services encouraging workers to wear their best (or worst) tie to work as a symbol of solidarity to mental health.
- Fancy Dress and Park Sausage Sizzle: Friday October 12th commencing at 3:30 pm, 313 Branyan Drive Avoca. This event is organised by Reclink.
- Bundaberg Region Mental Wellbeing Festival: Saturday 13th commencing at 10 am, Norville State School. This event is organised by Combined Rotary Clubs of Bundaberg.
