There is no age limit to having fun

The aim of YMCA’s 60 & Better Program is to ensure that Bundaberg seniors are Independent, Involved and Informed.

The 60 & Better program provides around 70 monthly opportunities for senior to stay active and connected to the Bundaberg community.

The program offers a broad range of physical, social and recreational activities aimed at multiple and diverse tastes and interest to keep members healthy in body, mind and spirit.

Apart from several classes in the Fitness Centres each week designed for senior participants, other regular activities include Computer Classes, Ten Pin Bowling, Cards (500), Lunch Club, Line Dancing, Walk In Water exercise class and free Information Sessions with morning tea. There are also other social activities organised such as bus trips, theatre visits, morning teas and barbeques.  To find out more, visit the 60 & Better Activities page.

All member activities are either conducted at a reduced rate, at no cost, or may require a gold coin donation.

Eligibility to participate in 60 & Better activities can vary, however it is generally open to anyone over 60 years of age.
