YMCA Youth 360° Program

The Youth 360° Program is a Queensland Department of Child Safety, Youth and Women funded program for youth aged 8 to 21.  Youth 360° provides an essential one on one early intervention response to young people who present with risk factors that may impact their well-being, and result in harm, exclusion, homelessness and /or negative health outcomes.

Our support model aims to bring young people the outcomes where they:

    • experience ​positive relationships with their family, peers and community;
    • are ​engaged in education, training and/or employment;
    • lead h​ealthy and violence free lives; and
    • experien​​ce safe and stable accommodation.

Youth 360° Program accepts young persons who self-refer or referred by the following:

    • Parents, Guardia​ns or Kin relatives;
    • Queensland P​olice Service, Child Safety, Youth Justice, and School;
    • Non-government and Community Agencies; and
    • Community members.

Young people can access the youth program between Mondays to Fridays, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (excluding public holidays)

T@Y Program

T@Y is an initiative of the YMCA, Bridges and Stepping Black.  The program is aimed at youth aged 12 to 17.  The program operates on Thursdays during School term between 4:00pm and 6:30 pm. Join us for fun, arts, traditional activities, sports, games and cooking.  Transport is available (within city limits0.

Participants prepare a meal which is shared on the night.

This program is open to Aboriginal and Torress Strait Islander and non-indigenous youth and friends.

Tihs LDAT program is funded through ADF.  There is no charge involved.
