On the 27th February we journeyed down to Mon Repos on the Big Bus. It was so exciting to have a ride on the bus, we saw loads of different buildings and animals on the way. We saw a huge bearded dragon, kangaroos, horses and cows.
We arrived at the new Mon Repos Centre and watched a huge screen which shows the turtles laying on the beach. We learned a lot about turtles, and watched them lay eggs on the sandy beach.
We then went to the activity centre and dug for turtle eggs, measured turtles, used the interactive screens to colour turtles in, watched turtles projected onto the floor, dressed up as rangers and had a fantastic time looking at turtle skulls.
