An introduction to 60 & Better Bundaberg

Jan 23, 2021 | Newsletter

Our 60 & Better program encourages people aged 60 and above to participate in social, physical and mentally stimulating pursuits combined with a philosophy promoting healthy active ageing, companionship and cultural diversity.

In short, it’s a fun way to get out and about, meet people and be as active as possible.

People of any cultural and linguistic background can become involved in the community and make sound decisions regarding their health and well being. We conduct physical social and recreational activities designed to keep participants active in both mind and body.

In addition to several classes held at YFitness each week, other regular activities include ten pin bowling, line dancing, cards and a walking group. There are also other social activities organised such as bus trips, lunches, morning teas, barbecues and information sessions.
