Service Manager – Community Inclusion Services
Emma is a Registered Nurse that specialises in Intellectual Disability, Epilepsy and Behaviour Support. She has been working in the sector for approximately 15 years in both remote and rural settings. Has 8 years of experience managing and developing multiple services for people with disabilities. Holds Higher Diploma in Community Sector Management, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, and Train the Trainer for Maybo Training. She enjoys building relationships with people and likes to help people seeking advice and support. She is committed to ensuring people have information that they require to make informed choices and assisting them on their path of achieving their life goals. Emma commenced her role at YMCA in March 2019.
Client Engagement Coordinator
Storm holds a Bachelor of Psychology with Honours, has completed post graduate studies in Positive Psychology, and has volunteered with headspace Bundaberg for three years. She volunteers within her local community and has been working with YMCA for the last three years in a number of roles relating to Clients, NDIS and support coordination. Storm is committed to assisting people be as independent as possible in their community and personal lives. Storm has been working in this role since.
Operations & Quality Assurance Officer
Kath holds certificates in Internal & Lead Auditing assurance – QMS, Disability, Aged Care and Community Care. Kath has been working in the community sector for 20+ years with a specific interest in disability, allied health, transport & WH & S. Skills and knowledge has been centred around quality assurance, supports, administration and WH&S. Kath is passionate about delivering positive outcomes for both the organization, individual service delivery and allied health. Kath has been working at the YMCA of Bundaberg since January 2018. Kath will shortly be undertaking WH & S Rep certification.
Jodie joined the Community Inclusion Services team in late 2018, new to the industry her previous experience has been within management roles in the logistic and hospitality industries. She has a customer focus approach, enjoys the challenges of the operations role and has a passion for new technologies. Jodie is currently studying Diplomas in Leadership and Management and Business.
Workforce Development Coordinator
Kia has worked in the disability sector within YMCA for nine years, support worker for seven of those years. Promoted to Workforce Development Coordinator for the last two years whereby she supports and guides new employees and trainees on person centred practices and outcome based approaches. Have a passion and focus on developing innovative programs for both adults and children, enjoys providing guidance and support to fellow support workers. Kia holds a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment.

Melissa joined the YMCA team in early 2018 after working in the health care sector over the last 18 years in both QLD and NT. Melissa holds a Diploma in Nursing Care, Certificate in Dental Nursing, and experience working across various health care settings including Community and Aged Care, Pathology, Oral Health, and Disability Support. She has a passion for helping others and is focused on delivering quality support to the community and organisation.
