Marie Theres-Stephan

Marie Theres-Stephan

CIS Manager

Marie has been working at the Y since 2014 in different roles across the organisation.

She has a background in Education and holds a Bachelor and Master of Vocational Education/ Social Pedagogy and Social Services and a Master of Education.

Having worked in a variety of settings such as Childcare or University research, Marie combines theoretical knowledge with practical, person-centered skills. Before commencing her management role, Marie was a Behavior Support Practitioner at the Y and enjoyed working with families to achieve better outcomes.

Marie is passionate about the Y’s core values and likes to support individuals and families to be happy, healthy and connected. 

Sonika Botha

Sonika Botha

Scheduling Officer

With a combination of more than 20 years of national and international experience in the Corporate sector, Australian Education department and Disability sector, Sonika has acquired the ability to successfully incorporate a good balance of both analytical and pragmatic skills in her professional capacities. 

Her studies include courses in Business Analysis & Decision Making, Professional Communication & News and Politics.

Being trained as a Specialist Health Aide, Sonika joined The Y in 2021 as a casual support worker which gave her great insight into the services we provide to our clients, the diverse needs in our community and a better understanding of the values of our organisation. 

Sonika recently joined the Community Inclusion Services management team as the new Scheduling Officer and enjoys being part of an authentic organisation that is passionate about the empowerment of all individuals.

Steven Hull

Client Engagement Coordinator

Steven has completed his Certificate III Individual Support (Disability) and has volunteered throughout the Bundaberg community since 2013.

He has worked within the NDIS and community services sector since 2018; he has an abundance of networking experience and a great understanding of NDIS legislation.

Steven is passionate about all aspects of the community services sector and enjoys sharing this passion with others. He is committed to supporting those in the community to be the very best they can be.

Breanna Morgan

Behaviour Support Practitioner

Breanna has a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Hons.) and is currently in her second year of Masters. In her behaviour support role, Breanna works with young people and their families to implement strategies to reduce behaviours of concern and increase their capacity to live a fulfilling and positive life.

When Breanna isn’t studying or working, she enjoys spending time at the beach reading a good book in the sun

Nia Golding

Nia Golding

Behaviour Support/Support Worker

Nia has recently joined the Y to learn and work alongside Breanna in the behaviour support sector. Coming from a position in disability support, she has also joined the team as a casual support worker to continue encouraging and empowering individuals to achieve their goals.
Nia is currently studying a Bachelor of Psychological Science and has a strong interest in understanding human behaviour. Along with this, she is also volunteering with Headspace as a youth representative to promote and advocate for youth mental health within our region.
She believes strongly in the worth of every individual, no matter their background, and hopes to continue to fulfil the Y’s values including supporting the development of safer communities.
